A well-maintained garden...

... is available for your private use and contains patio furniture and a barbecue.
The garden is safely walled and faces south. You have your private parking next to the garden. Click here to see more pictures.

Inside the gîte...

The ground floor consists of a large, south-facing living-room and kitchen area (dishwasher, microwave, oven) with a traditional stone fireplace and woodburning stove. Daily life in traditional French farmhouses is centered around the kitchen/livingroom, reason why it is equipped with an enourmous, oak table to allow your whole party to comfortably read, play games, discuss and eat together.
Artistic elements (original artworks and pictures from the area) are added to the beautiful ancient elements, that are carefully renovated, like the stonework around the woodburning stove, the wooden panel of a built-in closet and the funny wooden small closets that the owners have found when we bought the place.

You will also find a well-filled library in the 'gîte' (books in English, French and Dutch).

The modern bathroom  is accessible from the kitchen/living-room on the ground floor and has a shower, w.c., washbasin and washing machine.

The gîte is suitable for rental in all seasons, as it can be comfortably and economically heated by a wood-burning stove and electric heaters.
The living-room has a sofa-bed, which can be easily turned into a bed for two persons.

Upstairs...

... are two bedrooms, the "green room" and the "golden room", both romantically decorated and with original artworks (etchings, pictures).
The green room has 2 single beds, the master bedroom has a double bed (that can be split into two beds upon request), both rooms have their own washbasin. There are normal blankets on the beds upstairs, and rectangular pillows. The sofabed (2 persons) in the living-room has a quilt.

Both rooms have a splendid view onto the garden and the fields (see pictures on our La Grosse Talle-photo page).
