How to drive by car to Melle
From Paris/Poitiers take the direction Poitiers-sud (A10 Paris-Bordeaux), and follow D950 (Poitiers - Lusignan - Melle - St Jean d'angély).
At about 8 kilometers before Melle, you cross two small villages: Chenay and Chey. Keep going straight on. After having crossed Chey, the main road goes up a hill ; on top of that hill you will find a sign 'Sepvret' to your right. You turn right, cross the village completely. Just before leaving the village you will find 'La Grosse Talle' to your right.
From Nantes/Niort in Niort : take the direction to Limoges / Melle.
From Bordeaux: leave the l'A10 Bordeaux-Paris at St Jean d'Angély and follow the direction Poitiers and than to Melle.
From Melle:
When you are in the center of the village, you take the D950 direction POITIERS;
You will have to pass through 3 small villages of which the first one is called ST LEGER DE LA MARTINIERE and the third one is LA BARRE DE SEPVRET;
Just when you leave this third village you take the first road on your left (D108);
Follow this road, it will make a twist to the right, then to the left and then you have to choose between following the road or go to the left. In both directions you can reach our place but it is easier to take the left-road;
After a couple of hundred meters you reach a crossing (in front you will see a big white house) at which you take the road to your left;
The next house at your right is ‘La Grosse Talle’. It is the last house before you leave the village.
By train:
You can also take the TGV to Poitiers, St Maixent l''Ecole or to Niort and rent a car or finish your trip in a taxi. At a simple request, we will make sure a rental car is waiting for you at Poitiers or Niort.
